The Omegon Pro Astrograph 254/1016 combines an f/4 reflecting optical system with a GEM45G equatorial GoTo mount and LiteRoc tripod for visual observation and astrophotography. The f/4 aperture allows for shorter exposure times, while the wide field of view is suitable for large deep-sky objects. The BK7 parabolic primary mirror and secondary mirror have a reflectivity of 94%.
The 2″ Crayford focuser features a 1:10 reduction, a focusing scale, and bearings with a stainless steel guide rail. It supports cameras and eyepieces weighing up to 5 kg without slipping, and includes a 2″ to 1.25″ adapter. The GoTo mount features a built-in iPolar electronic polar scope, GPS, star recognition, and a library of more than 212,000 objects. The LiteRoc tripod has upper legs with a diameter of 45 mm and lower sections with a diameter of 38 mm.
