The Askar FMA180PRO OTA telescope is an apochromatic astrograph with a focal length of 180 mm and an aperture of 40 mm. The objective lens consists of three elements, two of which are ED glass elements separated by an air gap. The integrated three-element corrector forms an optical system with a flat image field for astrophotography.
The f/4.5 focal ratio allows for short exposure times, while the internal focuser and 360° rotator support stable, flexible use. It features an M48 thread with a 55 mm working distance for connecting a camera via a bayonet adapter, as well as a Vixen-style dovetail rail and a finder shoe.
