The Omegon Cassegrain Pro CC 154/1848 OTA telescope is a catadioptric telescope designed for astrophotography. Its parabolic primary mirror and hyperbolic secondary mirror reduce optical aberrations, providing a flatter image field and greater sharpness towards the edges. It is suitable for photographing compact objects such as the Moon, planets, planetary nebulae and globular clusters.
The quartz primary mirror has a 94% reflective coating, while the 8 baffles help increase contrast. The quartz mirror maintains its shape as it cools, helping the focus remain stable. The Crayford focuser comes with 2″ and 1.25″ adapters, has no mirror shift, and provides greater back focus for attaching a camera.
