Its quadruplet apochromatic optical assembly includes two ED glass elements, with an Ohara Super-ED FPL53 glass element at the center. It corrects the field across a 44 mm diagonal without an additional field flattener or corrector.

The compact optical tube features a 3″ Rack & Pinion focuser with a 1:10 reduction ratio, suitable for supporting heavy astronomical cameras without flexure. The integrated 360° rotator allows you to adjust the framing.
