The Askar 140 APO refractor telescope is designed primarily for astrophotography, but can also be used for visual observation. It features an air-spaced triplet apochromatic optical system with an ED glass element to correct chromatic aberration. Its 140 mm aperture helps collect light and resolve image detail.
The 3.5" dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser has 100 mm of travel and a precision scale, and is compatible with most focus motors. The rotatable mechanism at the rear turns through 360° to adjust the viewing angle. The retractable dew shield and enlarged locking knobs make it easy to use.
