The Askar SQA130 quintuplet astrograph uses a Petzval optical design with five elements in four groups and two SD glass elements. Its built-in flat field covers a 55 mm image circle, so no field flattener is required. The telescope has a 130 mm aperture and a 624 mm focal length.
The 3.2” dual-speed rack-and-pinion focuser has 30 mm of travel, an engraved scale, and supports motor attachment. The integrated 360° rotator has a graduated scale for rotating the camera.
