The Omegon AC 70/900 EQ-1 refractor telescope is suitable for beginners and for observing the Moon, stars and planets. Its 70 mm objective lens and 900 mm focal length allow you to observe details on planets such as Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, as well as the Moon’s craters. Focus is adjusted with a knob on the rack-and-pinion focuser.

The EQ-1 equatorial mount can be aligned with the North Star, and its polar height adjusted according to the observing location. The slow-motion controls on the right ascension and declination axes help with positioning and tracking objects, while the counterweight balances the optics. The telescope can also be used for nature observation with an erecting lens or an Amici prism.
