I don’t think a better book than The Gruffalo has ever been written... Έχει ξεκάθαρη λογική αλληλουχία γεγονότων, επαναληπτική δομή και μοτίβα λόγου, χαρακτηριστικές περιγραφές (τα στοιχεία της εμφάνισης του Γκρούφαλο), που ενεργοποιούν τη φαντασία και ενισχύουν τη μνήμη. Παρουσιάζει έναν μικρό, χαριτωμένο αλλά πανέξυπνο ήρωα, το ποντικάκι, που αντιμετωπίζει έναν κίνδυνο όχι με δύναμη αλλά με ευρηματικότητα. Personally, I was not satisfied at all. It doesn't make much sense and the illustrations are somewhat scary for small children. I am referring to the edition with the pop-up windows.

I gave 4 stars only for the fact that in my opinion it is the classic little story without me discerning a moral lesson... However, it keeps my little one’s interest undiminished and we read it again and again laughing... she doesn’t fully understand the meaning but I believe that if she grows a little more she will understand it; nevertheless, she laughs at the illustrations and the lines and comments on whatever she hears and sees, which I consider essential for me to rate a book positively.
Έβαλα 4 αστέρια μόνο για το γεγονός ότι κατά τη γνώμη μου αποτελεί την κλασική ιστοριούλα χωρίς να διακρίνω ένα ηθικό δίδαγμα …. Όμως κράτα το ενδιαφέρον της μικρής μου αμείωτο και το διάβαζουμε ξανά και ξανά γελώντας … δεν κατανοεί πλήρως το νόημα όμως πιστεύω ότι εάν μεγαλώσει άλλο λίγο θα το κατανοήσει παρόλα αυτά γελάει με την εικονογράφηση και με τις ατάκες και σχολιάζει ο,τι ακούει και βλέπει που το κρίνω βασικό για να αξιολογήσω θετικά ένα βιβλίο .
