Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is particularly resistant to water, alcohol, and food acids. It offers a hard finish and is ideal for surfaces such as kitchen countertops, tables, and all high-quality interior woods. It is safe for use on toys.

Preparation:
Ensure the wood surface is clean. Remove varnish and wax if present. A clean, dry, dust-free surface ensures good performance.

Application:

• Apply using a brush or lint-free cloth. For ease of application, thin the first one or two coats with up to 50% white spirit.
• Allow the oil to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes, then wipe off the excess oil using a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Allow to dry for 24 hours between coats. 
• Apply additional coats of Pure Tung Oil as above, reducing the amount of white spirit used. 
• Allow another 24 hours to dry. Apply the final one or two coats of Pure Tung Oil undiluted, as in the previous applications. 
• After applying the final coat and removing the excess, leave for 24 hours and wipe again to aid drying.
• Remove any oil that may have pooled.
