The expansion tank protects your solar system from high pressure created by the expansion of liquids at high temperatures. It features a special EPDM-HT membrane that is resistant to temperatures up to 140°C. It is suitable for use with glycol solutions.
The membrane prevents contact between water and the metal walls, keeping the circuit liquid clean. In case of higher temperatures, the use of an additional expansion tank helps cool the liquid in the system.
