The expansion tank protects your solar system from high pressure created by the expansion of fluids at high temperatures. It features a special EPDM-HT membrane that is resistant to temperatures up to 140°C. It is suitable for operation with glycol solutions. The membrane prevents contact between the water and the metal walls, keeping the circuit fluid clean.
In the case of higher temperatures, using an additional expansion tank helps cool the fluid in the system and protects the expansion tank membrane. They have been manufactured and tested according to the current European Regulation.
