Writers Tears is a light, easy-drinking Irish whiskey made using a blend of single pot still and single malt whiskey. The result is a whiskey with delicious honeyed, fruity notes. On the nose, it is soft and sweet with thick honey spread on wheat toast, notes of citrus peel with honey flavor, hints of oaky vanilla and mature malt, green apple peels, caramel, and a touch of oak.
