It was in 1822 when King George IV, during his visit to Scotland, requested to be served Glenlivet, which caused surprise because it was illegal at the time. Due to this event, the owner George Smith managed to secure the license for the drink in 1824.
In fact, during Prohibition, the distillery continued to operate and had such a stockpile that after it ended, it also supplied the USA. Excellent and beloved, it has all the features that will make you love it.
