Varietal composition: Single Malt
Region: England
Tasting characteristics: The raw material comes from the Cotswolds farm and the barrels belong to a very special category. American oak barrels that aged red wine, 'scraped', smoked, and charred, eventually hosting the raw material. Exotic on the nose with intensity and nerve from the alcohol but also sweet at the same time. Ripe fruits and spices on the palate, ending in a long sweet finish from the oak. Add a few drops of chilled water from a Scottish spring to reveal all the complexity of this unique whiskey.
Awarded as the best English Single Malt whiskey at the World Whiskies Awards 2019.
