    The pan really becomes non-stick if you take care of it, at least at the beginning. We went back to grandma's pan to avoid PFAS. I hope it's not full of heavy metals and that we don't get overloaded with polycyclics... :P

    It has a slightly unusual shape - but it's just fine.

    The other review, it's obvious from the photo that they didn't season it properly enough times before use and didn't let it burn in sufficiently - or they didn't leave the food in place to release itself when it should.

    Pure disappointment. Before using it, I carefully read the instructions to properly season it. After many attempts, the result is what you see in the photo. It sticks worse than a non-stick pan. Not to mention the fact that the sizes they state are a few millimeters smaller, resulting in lids of the same size purchased not fitting these pans. Overall, a waste of money.

The Petromax sp24 forged pan is an iron frying pan with excellent heat distribution, perfect for cooking beef steaks, vegetables, and omelets. The iron heats quickly, has a long lifespan, and is human-friendly. It is made from specially forged iron using specific tools, without paint or coating. It is suitable for grilling on gas grills, BBQs, over an open fire, on electric and ceramic hotplates, or on induction cooktops.

Initially, a characteristic patina forms on the surface of the pan, created by the cooking vegetable oils, which improves the non-stick property of the pan. Unlike other surfaces, like Teflon, the surface of forged pans improves with use. It is available in bubble packaging for protection during transport.
