Jack Daniel’s is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee using the same traditional method for 140 years. The ingredients used are exclusively from the land of Tennessee: grains & pristine spring water. Unlike other bourbon whiskeys, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee undergoes an additional process before being sealed in barrels for aging. The very slow filtration through maple charcoal is crucial in achieving its high quality and rich flavor. During this period, it is freed from all unwanted substances while being enriched with unique aromas.
After distillation, Jack Daniel’s ages in cellars in new white oak barrels, which are made at the distillery's cooperage. During its aging, it absorbs various components from the barrel wood, giving it its characteristic flavor and deep red hue.
Jack stands out for its unique, balanced taste, with elements of smoked wood, caramel, and vanilla, while its rich, deep amber color indicates its unique flavor characteristics and its soft fruity aroma.
