The Powertech cable features two DVI-I male connectors. DVI-I transmits both digital and analog signals and cannot be connected to DVI-D ports, as it has more pins than DVI-D.
It supports Dual Link technology, which allows the DVI cable to carry a larger volume of data in a shorter time, enabling support for higher resolutions. A necessary condition for dual link to work is that it must also be supported by the monitor or graphics card to which it is connected.
