Fruity and refreshing wine with intense lemon aromas and acidity, with a copper-yellow color, from the rare homonymous variety of Crete, accompanies fish dishes and oily foods. The Dafni variety is one of the rarest and oldest Cretan varieties that was planted in the vineyard of the winemaker Lyrarakis in Alagni a few years ago to save it from extinction. A characteristic of the variety is the wonderful primary aromas which are mainly concentrated in the skin of the grape. The variety owes its name to the homonymous plant (Daphne) due to the similarity of their aromas. White-yellow color. Aromas of great intensity and duration that clearly reveal the variety from which it comes. Rich, balanced taste. Pairs with all seafood, a wide variety of cheeses, and white meats. Serving temperature: 12 - 13°C.
