    At 200 euros, it is one of the best lenses in this price range. Very good portraits - that's what it's made for after all - performs very well in low light situations due to the 1.8, very nice bokeh. I don't like the autofocus at all, it is extremely slow. I have used Nikon and Canon, but I have never encountered such slow autofocus. However, I am willing to overlook it because of the photo quality I get. It does have noise, but personally it doesn't bother me because I don't shoot video.

    Tragic auto-focus - takes 10 hours to focus on A7SIII for both photo and video. It resembles more the Canon 50mm 1.8 than a modern Sony lens. Also, at 1.8, it’s not the clearest in terms of chromatic aberration - it has a purple outline in backlight on your subject.

Its Bokeh is amazing and it is logical due to the 1.8f. In focus it is a bit noisy but for me it doesn't matter at all. The autofocus struggles to find its point sometimes especially when your Object is close but you find it quickly. It performs very nicely in low light conditions and produces very nice colors.

    We have and we say:
    1) The autofocus is slow.
    2) The color reproduction is quite good. Here I must say that compared to the Sigma 30mm, it had better reproduction. However, the Sigma is much superior in sharpness and autofocus.
    3) Nice bokeh, even at f 1.8, depending on the situation, it performs quite well.
    4) Very good price compared to performance. There are certainly much better options, but not at this price.
    The evaluation is based on use with the Sony a6300.

    Good lens with proper depth in several areas, beautiful bokeh and color with some deviations. That's where the difficulties begin, it's a good lens to start with, with a reasonable cost for what it offers. It doesn't have stabilization and the autofocus is relatively slow and noisy due to the protruding focusing barrel. I recommend using a hood permanently on it and a good recording system in a quiet environment.

    It has been tested on a7iii, a6300, and the legendary crop nex vg 30 with different focus speed settings. No golden ratio was found except in touch focus and face follow with good results.

    Value for money, yes, with a cost of a relatively good user experience, it's worth having in your bag.

    However, I hope I helped, but the actual use may vary from user to user.

    I have done all the updates to it very sharp, almost no distortion or vignetting and minimal chromatic aberration, but its autofocus is bad, sometimes it does full hunting and never focuses especially in low light conditions. In the video with the Sony A7II, it simply never focuses, here even with the A6300, A6500 it is slow, in photos sometimes it performs well with continuous focus and good lighting.

    Good lens with proper depth in several areas, beautiful bokeh and color with some deviations. That's where the difficulties begin, it's a good lens to start with, with a reasonable cost for what it offers. It doesn't have stabilization and the autofocus is relatively slow and noisy due to the protruding focusing barrel. I recommend using a hood permanently on it and a good recording system in a quiet environment.

    It has been tested on a7iii, a6300, and the legendary crop nex vg 30 with different focus speed settings. No golden ratio was found except in touch focus and face follow with good results.

    Value for money, yes, with a cost of a relatively good user experience, it's worth having in your bag.

    However, I hope I helped, but the actual use may vary from user to user.

    It is what we call "honest". If it was more expensive, I would say it's a waste of money, but for amateur use, it is excellent. The AF is indeed very slow and sometimes struggles to focus.     I have done all the updates to it very sharp, almost no distortion or vignetting and minimal chromatic aberration, but its autofocus is bad, sometimes it does full hunting and never focuses especially in low light conditions. In the video with the Sony A7II, it simply never focuses, here even with the A6300, A6500 it is slow, in photos sometimes it performs well with continuous focus and good lighting.

    At 200 euros, it is one of the best lenses in this price range. Very good portraits - that's what it's made for after all - performs very well in low light situations due to the 1.8, very nice bokeh. I don't like the autofocus at all, it is extremely slow. I have used Nikon and Canon, but I have never encountered such slow autofocus. However, I am willing to overlook it because of the photo quality I get. It does have noise, but personally it doesn't bother me because I don't shoot video.

    Tragic auto-focus - takes 10 hours to focus on A7SIII for both photo and video. It resembles more the Canon 50mm 1.8 than a modern Sony lens. Also, at 1.8, it’s not the clearest in terms of chromatic aberration - it has a purple outline in backlight on your subject.

    For 150€ it is the most value for money lens I have seen. It has good sharpness, has some lens aberration but with good lighting you can have excellent results. Its Bokeh is amazing and it is logical due to the 1.8f. In focus it is a bit noisy but for me it doesn't matter at all. The autofocus struggles to find its point sometimes especially when your Object is close but you find it quickly. It performs very nicely in low light conditions and produces very nice colors.
