Like all netatmo products, they are very high-quality and expensive. So is the indoor camera, a beautiful, expensive, high-quality, and completely useless gadget. The way it works, I can't imagine any practical use. A) impossible to hide, B) takes years to learn faces properly, C) thinks someone is missing if it doesn't see them constantly, D) overheats!! incredibly much, I wonder why it doesn't melt, E) many disconnections and takes a long time to reconnect, F) always needs power, no battery option, not even to avoid disconnecting during short power outages, and G) always needs wifi. I repeat, a nice gadget with zero usefulness.

When we connected to install the relevant netatmo skill for Alexa, we received a system denial for installation due to geographical restrictions of the skill. If this is indeed the case and there is no collaboration between LEGRAND and Amazon in Greece, which is not mentioned anywhere in LEGRAND's documents, we will immediately return the two cameras. We have already sent an official email to LEGRAND to get their input on the matter.

Συνδεόμενοι για να εγκαταστήσουμε το σχετικό netatmo skill για την Alexa πήραμε την άρνηση του συστήματος για να εγκατασταθεί λόγω γεωγραφικών περιορισμών του skill . Εάν αυτή είναι πράγματι η κατάσταση και δεν υπάρχει συνεργασία της LEGRAND με την Amazon στην Ελλάδα γεγονός που δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά στα έντυπα της LEGRAND θα επιστρέψουμε άμεσα τις δύο κάμερες. Στείλαμε ήδη επίσημο Email προς την LEGRAND για να πάρουμε την δική της τοποθέτηση.
I have had it for about 8 months. Overall, it works effectively, but:
1) It has frequent disconnections, almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day, even though the repeater is only 2 meters away without obstacles, and the disconnections can last from a few minutes to hours.
2) It took quite a while (months) to "learn" all the family members properly.
3) When visitors come, it becomes a problem because although you can set it to not notify when we are at home and it "sees" strangers, it still records their faces and then asks you to identify them, so you have to go through them one by one and delete them, while it also gets confused with... shopping bags that have faces printed on them (e.g. a reusable bag from Sklavenitis).
4) It does indeed heat up easily, even in winter.
5) It does not have pan & tilt, a lack that can be significant for large or elongated spaces.
For Apple device owners, an advantage is the HomeKit integration, but one swallow does not make a spring, and for the price it costs (199 euros, luckily I found it on a -50% discount), I would rate it generously with a 6, with 10 being excellent.

1) Έχει πολύ συχνές αποσυνδέσεις, σχεδόν καθημερινά και ενίοτε αρκετές φορές μέσα στην ημέρα, μολονότι το repeater είναι στα 2 μέτρα απόσταση χωρίς εμπόδια, ενώ οι αποσυνδέσεις μπορεί να διαρκούν από λίγα λεπτά έως ώρες.
2) Άργησε αρκετά (μήνες) να “μάθει” καλά όλα τα μέλη της οικογένειας.
3) Όταν έρχονται επισκέπτες είναι ένα πρόβλημα, γιατί ναι μεν μπορείς να το ρυθμίσεις αυτόματα να μην ειδοποιεί όταν είμαστε στο σπίτι και “βλέπει” και αγνώστους, αλλά τα πρόσωπά τους τα καταγράφει και μετά σου ζητάει να τα ταυτοποιήσεις, οπότε πρέπει να πηγαίνεις σε ένα-ένα και να τα σβήνεις, ενώ επίσης μπερδεύεται με… τσάντες για ψώνια που έχουν πρόσωπα τυπωμένα επάνω τους (π.χ. κάποια επαναχρησιμοποιούμενη τσάντα του Σκλαβενίτη).
4) Όντως ζεσταίνεται εύκολα, ακόμα και το χειμώνα.
5) Δεν έχει pan & tilt, έλλειψη που μπορεί να είναι σημαντική για μεγάλους ή μακρόστενους χώρους.
Για τους κατόχους συσκευών Apple, ένα πλεονέκτημα είναι το HomeKit integration αλλά ένας κούκος δεν φέρνει την άνοιξη, ενώ για τα λεφτά που κοστίζει (199 ευρώ, εγώ ευτυχώς την είχα βρει σε προσφορά -50%) θα τη βαθμολογούσα λίαν επιεικώς με 6, με άριστα το 10.
It has been working for almost two years, it recognizes faces quite well (sometimes even when I have a beard, shave my head, etc. and it still recognizes me). If it catches you in a funny face, it can recognize an unknown face (logical). At first, it had many connection problems, but after many updates, it is now quite stable. Also, once during a heatwave, it got blocked and went crazy. Nice, discreet design. Easy retrieval of recorded video files from the mobile. It does what it advertises, although it may be expensive.
Update: For a long time now, it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the network. There have been several updates from the company without any improvement. At some point, I removed it and threw it away. It became tiresome. It's a shame because I liked it as a product
Σχεδον δυο χρονια δουλευει, αναγνωριζει προσωπα αρκετα καλα(κατα καιρους αφηνω μουσια,ξυριζω κεφαλι κ.α. και με αναγνωριζει). Αν σε πιασει σε γκριματσα μπορει να αναγνωρισει unknown face(λογικο). Στην αρχη ειχε πολλα προβληματα συνδεσης,μετα απο πολλα updates ειναι πλεον αρκετα σταθερο. Επισης μια φορα που ειχε καυσωνα μπλοκαρε και τρελαθηκε. Ωραιο,διακριτικο design. Ευκολη ανακτηση απο το κινητο video καταγραφης αρχειου. Κανει αυτο για το οποιο διαφημιζεται,αν και τα λεφτα ισως ειναι πολλα.
Update:εδω και πολυ καιρο συνδεεται-αποσυνδεεται απο το δικτυο,εχουν γινει αρκετα update απο την εταιρια χωρις να βελτιωνεται κατι, καποια στιγμη το εβγαλα,το πεταξα. Κουρασε. Κριμα γιατι μου αρεσε σαν προιον

Update:εδω και πολυ καιρο συνδεεται-αποσυνδεεται απο το δικτυο,εχουν γινει αρκετα update απο την εταιρια χωρις να βελτιωνεται κατι, καποια στιγμη το εβγαλα,το πεταξα. Κουρασε. Κριμα γιατι μου αρεσε σαν προιον
Like all netatmo products, they are very high-quality and expensive. So is the indoor camera, a beautiful, expensive, high-quality, and completely useless gadget. The way it works, I can't imagine any practical use. A) impossible to hide, B) takes years to learn faces properly, C) thinks someone is missing if it doesn't see them constantly, D) overheats!! incredibly much, I wonder why it doesn't melt, E) many disconnections and takes a long time to reconnect, F) always needs power, no battery option, not even to avoid disconnecting during short power outages, and G) always needs wifi. I repeat, a nice gadget with zero usefulness.
Όπως ολα τα προϊόντα netatmo, είναι πολύ ποιοτικές κατασκευές και ακριβές. Έτσι και η κάμερα εσωτερικού είναι ένα όμορφο, ακριβό, ποιοτικό και απόλυτα άχρηστο gadget. Με τον τροπο που δουλεύει, δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ κάποια πρακτική χρήση. Α) αδυνατον να κρυφτεί, Β) θελει χρονια να μαθει καλα τα προσωπα, Γ) νομιζει οτι κάποιος λειπει αν δεν τον βλεπει συνέχεια, Δ) υπερθερμαίνεται!! απίστευτα πολύ, απορώ που δεν λιώνει, Ε) πολλές αποσυνδέσεις και παίρνει πολύ χρόνο να επανέλθει, ΣΤ) θελει παντα ρευμα, δεν παιζειε μπαταρία, ούτε καν για να μην αποσυνδέεται σε μικροδιακοπες και Ζ) θελει παντα wifi. Επαναλαμβάνω, ωραίο gadget μηδενικής χρησιμότητας.
We bought two netatmo indoor cameras with facial recognition yesterday in order to use them in conjunction with an Amazon Alexa Show network. When we connected to install the relevant netatmo skill for Alexa, we received a system denial for installation due to geographical restrictions of the skill. If this is indeed the case and there is no collaboration between LEGRAND and Amazon in Greece, which is not mentioned anywhere in LEGRAND's documents, we will immediately return the two cameras. We have already sent an official email to LEGRAND to get their input on the matter.
Αγοράσαμε χθές δύο κάμερες netatmo εσωτερικού χώρου με αναγνώριση προσώπου προκειμένου να χρησιμοποιηθούν σε συνεργασία με ένα δίκτυο Amazon Alexa Show. Συνδεόμενοι για να εγκαταστήσουμε το σχετικό netatmo skill για την Alexa πήραμε την άρνηση του συστήματος για να εγκατασταθεί λόγω γεωγραφικών περιορισμών του skill . Εάν αυτή είναι πράγματι η κατάσταση και δεν υπάρχει συνεργασία της LEGRAND με την Amazon στην Ελλάδα γεγονός που δεν αναφέρεται πουθενά στα έντυπα της LEGRAND θα επιστρέψουμε άμεσα τις δύο κάμερες. Στείλαμε ήδη επίσημο Email προς την LEGRAND για να πάρουμε την δική της τοποθέτηση.
I have had it for about 8 months. Overall, it works effectively, but:
1) It has frequent disconnections, almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day, even though the repeater is only 2 meters away without obstacles, and the disconnections can last from a few minutes to hours.
2) It took quite a while (months) to "learn" all the family members properly.
3) When visitors come, it becomes a problem because although you can set it to not notify when we are at home and it "sees" strangers, it still records their faces and then asks you to identify them, so you have to go through them one by one and delete them, while it also gets confused with... shopping bags that have faces printed on them (e.g. a reusable bag from Sklavenitis).
4) It does indeed heat up easily, even in winter.
5) It does not have pan & tilt, a lack that can be significant for large or elongated spaces.
For Apple device owners, an advantage is the HomeKit integration, but one swallow does not make a spring, and for the price it costs (199 euros, luckily I found it on a -50% discount), I would rate it generously with a 6, with 10 being excellent.
Την έχω περίπου 8 μήνες. Σε γενικές γραμμές λειτουργεί αποτελεσματικά, αλλά:
1) Έχει πολύ συχνές αποσυνδέσεις, σχεδόν καθημερινά και ενίοτε αρκετές φορές μέσα στην ημέρα, μολονότι το repeater είναι στα 2 μέτρα απόσταση χωρίς εμπόδια, ενώ οι αποσυνδέσεις μπορεί να διαρκούν από λίγα λεπτά έως ώρες.
2) Άργησε αρκετά (μήνες) να “μάθει” καλά όλα τα μέλη της οικογένειας.
3) Όταν έρχονται επισκέπτες είναι ένα πρόβλημα, γιατί ναι μεν μπορείς να το ρυθμίσεις αυτόματα να μην ειδοποιεί όταν είμαστε στο σπίτι και “βλέπει” και αγνώστους, αλλά τα πρόσωπά τους τα καταγράφει και μετά σου ζητάει να τα ταυτοποιήσεις, οπότε πρέπει να πηγαίνεις σε ένα-ένα και να τα σβήνεις, ενώ επίσης μπερδεύεται με… τσάντες για ψώνια που έχουν πρόσωπα τυπωμένα επάνω τους (π.χ. κάποια επαναχρησιμοποιούμενη τσάντα του Σκλαβενίτη).
4) Όντως ζεσταίνεται εύκολα, ακόμα και το χειμώνα.
5) Δεν έχει pan & tilt, έλλειψη που μπορεί να είναι σημαντική για μεγάλους ή μακρόστενους χώρους.
Για τους κατόχους συσκευών Apple, ένα πλεονέκτημα είναι το HomeKit integration αλλά ένας κούκος δεν φέρνει την άνοιξη, ενώ για τα λεφτά που κοστίζει (199 ευρώ, εγώ ευτυχώς την είχα βρει σε προσφορά -50%) θα τη βαθμολογούσα λίαν επιεικώς με 6, με άριστα το 10.
It has been working for almost two years, it recognizes faces quite well (sometimes even when I have a beard, shave my head, etc. and it still recognizes me). If it catches you in a funny face, it can recognize an unknown face (logical). At first, it had many connection problems, but after many updates, it is now quite stable. Also, once during a heatwave, it got blocked and went crazy. Nice, discreet design. Easy retrieval of recorded video files from the mobile. It does what it advertises, although it may be expensive.
Update: For a long time now, it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the network. There have been several updates from the company without any improvement. At some point, I removed it and threw it away. It became tiresome. It's a shame because I liked it as a product
Σχεδον δυο χρονια δουλευει, αναγνωριζει προσωπα αρκετα καλα(κατα καιρους αφηνω μουσια,ξυριζω κεφαλι κ.α. και με αναγνωριζει). Αν σε πιασει σε γκριματσα μπορει να αναγνωρισει unknown face(λογικο). Στην αρχη ειχε πολλα προβληματα συνδεσης,μετα απο πολλα updates ειναι πλεον αρκετα σταθερο. Επισης μια φορα που ειχε καυσωνα μπλοκαρε και τρελαθηκε. Ωραιο,διακριτικο design. Ευκολη ανακτηση απο το κινητο video καταγραφης αρχειου. Κανει αυτο για το οποιο διαφημιζεται,αν και τα λεφτα ισως ειναι πολλα.
