A no nonsense Solar charger. The only thing I got mad with is that I plugged it in first at a 12V battery for testing, and then the charger locks in at that voltage and you CANNOT change the voltage anymore! You have to buy the Bluetooth dongle so you can communicate with the charger(+€45) which I did because I needed it on a 24V system. In the end it was better to buy the Solarsmart unit which has the Bluetooth built in. I would say this is false advertising because on all pictures it has that blue light and a phone next to it. It’s not a big deal to have the Bluetooth, but a very big deal that it locks the voltage! And no way to reset the unit to factory!!!

It excels compared to others in the fact that you can connect more watt photovoltaics and it will simply take the maximum allowed power without the risk of burning. So, from the maximum of 440W it can utilize, I have installed 600W photovoltaic panels and it charges the batteries in a caravan, working at 100% of its capacity for many hours during the day
