The product description is "Digital battery and mains powered alarm clock/radio, with a 0.6-inch LED screen and dual alarm function." The product I received does not work with batteries, only with mains power. In the relevant technical leaflet included in the packaging, the batteries are described as backup, and it is mentioned that during backup operation (when power is not supplied), "all settings are memorized, however, the clock time could occasionally need to be readjusted," which always happens, meaning that whenever the mains power is interrupted, the clock resets and when it is reconnected to the network, the time display is reset to zero. Based on the above, the clock cannot be characterized as "battery and mains powered." So, be careful, if you need a battery-powered clock, choose another product.
I would like to note that the build quality seemed decent to me, and it probably works very well as a clock and radio when connected to the mains power. The negative rating only concerns the product's compatibility and description.

Το προϊόν που παρέλαβα δεν λειτουργεί με μπαταρίες, παρά μόνο με ρεύμα. Στο σχετικό τεχνικό φυλλάδιο που περιέχεται στη συσκευασία οι μπαταρίες χαρακτηρίζονται ως backup ενώ αναφέρεται ότι κατά τη λειτουργία backup (εκτός παροχής ρεύματος) "all settings are memorized, however, the clock time could occasionally need to be readjusted", πράγμα που συμβαίνει πάντα, δηλαδή όποτε διακόπτεται η παροχή του ρεύματος δικτύου το ρολόι σβήνει και όταν επανασυνδέεται στο δίκτυο η ένδειξη της ώρας έχει μηδενιστεί. Βάσει των παραπάνω δεν μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί το ρολόι ως "μπαταρίας και ρεύματος". Προσοχή λοιπόν, αν χρειάζεστε ρολόι μπαταρίας επιλέξτε ένα άλλο προϊόν.
Θα ήθελα να σημειώσω ότι η ποιότητα κατασκευής μου φάνηκε αξιοπρεπής, ενώ πιθανότατα λειτουργεί πολύ καλά σαν ρολόι και ραδιόφωνο όταν είναι συνδεδεμένο στο δίκτυο ρεύματος. Η αρνητική βαθμολογία αφορά μόνο την ασυμβατότητα προϊόντος και περιγραφής.
