Compatible with Thunderbolt 1 and 2 ports, the adapter transmits video and audio signals from iMac (late 2009), MacBook Pro 13", 15", 17" (mid 2010), MacBook (mid 2010), Air (late 2010), Mac mini (mid 2010), Mac Pro (mid 2010) and newer computers. For older Macs, it transmits only video.
