  • 1. Nasal Washes
    2. Wound Washes (useful for a First Aid kit)
    3. Contact Lens Rinse #ATTENTION: NOT for their STORAGE!

    *** I D E A ***:
The product fits perfectly to be inserted into a SYRINGE without a needle for NASAL WASHES! I don't know why it isn't also mentioned in the TITLE?; Since it is plain NaCl 0.9% without additives.

As other users who chose it mistakenly correctly say, it indeed has a SHARP-ROUGH edge and the HOLE at the front is LARGE. Therefore, it is NOT suitable for direct use with the ampoule in the nostril and, apart from that, despite having double the quantity compared to others, it will NOT have the appropriate pressure and sufficient result.
The manufacturing ERROR is that among the pack of 5, they are DIFFICULT to separate! Otherwise, everything is PERFECT.

IN THE PAST, PHYSIOLOGICA used to make 10ml saline solutions with a THIN refined nozzle (tip) that provided good pressure and the 10ml quantity unclogged SUFFICIENTLY! Unfortunately, they are discontinuing the good practical things....

    U S A G E:
After breaking the tip of the plastic ampoule and the hole appears, apply it HORIZONTALLY and firmly push the nozzle (spout) of the syringe inside so that it fits and does not "communicate" with the air as much as possible.

Then turn them VERTICALLY with the ampoule on top and the syringe below and slowly pull the wings of the plunger to draw the liquid (saline).

Finally, if you have obtained a Nasal Aspirator with a silicone PROTECTOR for children like the one in the photo I posted, you add it at the end.

It is good if the nostril is quite blocked to press the wings slowly so that it does not squirt out and go to waste, while if it is less blocked you can press more abruptly-quickly and with the 10ml for an adult or older child it cleans perfectly by spitting from the mouth (if you are not disgusted) and blowing from the nose (if it is still blocked by mucus or crusts (from inflammation, allergies, etc)).

You will notice that when it is well unclogged after 1-2 applications, the saline liquid passes into the other nostril (provided there are no other pathological conditions or a deviated nasal septum (scoliosis)).

    I hope I helped...

All the ampoules we have tried for direct nasal rinses have a sharp nozzle. The syringe fits perfectly in them, so we use them in this way and they have been very helpful to us.

Let me clarify that I bought them as ampoules for nasal rinses for my little one!

    1. The vials are made of hard plastic, which means they are difficult to separate from each other.
    2. After removing the cap, the nozzle, although it has a large opening, the plastic is hard and sharp at both ends. In combination with the fact that the vial is generally very hard, it does not allow insertion into the nose and pressure for nasal rinsing.

For the aforementioned use, these specific products do not work!
