The beautiful vineyard of Kyros Melas is inspired by French estates. The estate is located near the village of Achinos in Central Greece on a gorgeous 11-acre expanse. At an altitude of 300 meters, the property is surrounded by ancient oak forests, overlooking the Aegean Sea.
In 2001, vines of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, imported from France, were planted. The location is ideal, as the sea breeze cools the vineyards during the day, while the rocky soil keeps the vines warm at night, creating an ideal microclimate.
It originates from a rare vineyard over 100 years old, with own-rooted vines in the Fliunda Nemea area. It matures for about 14 months in new French barrique barrels and is bottled unfiltered. An almost rare wine, released in a limited number of bottles.
