The PANGAO PGITR1613 non-contact infrared thermometer measures temperature from the forehead or ear, as well as the temperature of the surrounding environment, objects and liquids. The measurement is completed in 1 second with an accuracy of ±0.2 °C, while the alarm appears on the display in green, orange or red.

The backlit LCD displays readings in °C or ℉, with °C as the default unit. The thermometer beeps when the measurement is complete and switches off automatically after 15 seconds. It is a Class IIa medical device in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC Annex II.
