Specifications
NOVEPOX AQUA is a two-component, water-based epoxy paint designed to protect concrete or metal surfaces. It offers:
- Excellent adhesion
- Resistance to abrasion and scratching
- Resistance to water and mild chemicals
This product is suitable for:
- Interior industrial floors and walls
- Car parks
- Workshops and warehouses
Thanks to its low odour, it is suitable for areas where solvent-based products are avoided.
Application instructions:
- The surface must be clean and dry, free of dust, oil and rust.
- Fill cracks and flaking areas with ARMOPLAST epoxy filler.
- Before application, mix Component A thoroughly, then add Component B gradually while stirring continuously.
- Mechanical mixing is recommended (using a low-speed mixer).
- It can be used as a primer. New metal surfaces should be primed with NOVEPOX PRIMER 951 anti-corrosion primer.
- Apply 2 coats. Lightly sand between coats if more than 48 hours have passed since the previous coat.
Mixing ratio: 5A:1B by weight. Pot life: > 6 hours (10°C), 2–3 hours (20°C), ½–1 hour (30°C).
Application methods: Brush, roller, conventional spray gun and airless spray.
Thinner: Water. Thinning ratio:
- Priming: up to 10% by weight for brush, roller or airless spray; up to 20% by weight for conventional spray.
- 1st coat: unthinned or up to 5% by weight for brush, roller or airless spray; 10% by weight for conventional spray.
- 2nd coat: unthinned or up to 2.5% by weight for brush, roller or airless spray; up to 5% by weight for conventional spray.
