Specifications
NOVEPOX AQUA is a two-component, water-based epoxy coating designed to protect concrete or metal surfaces. It offers:
- Excellent adhesion
- Resistance to abrasion and scratching
- Resistance to water and mild chemicals
Suitable for use on:
- Interior industrial floors and walls
- Car parks
- Workshops
- Warehouses
Application instructions:
- The surface must be clean, dry and free of cracks. Any cracks should be filled with ARMOPLAST epoxy filler.
- Stir component A thoroughly before adding component B.
- Mechanical mixing is recommended (using a low-speed mixer).
- Apply in 2 coats, lightly sanding between coats if more than 48 hours elapse.
Mixing ratio: 5 parts A to 1 part B by weight. Pot life: > 6 hours (10°C), 2–3 hours (20°C), ½–1 hour (30°C). Application methods: Brush, roller, conventional spray gun and airless spray. Thinner: Water.
Thinning ratios:
- Primer coat: up to 10% by weight for brush or roller application; up to 20% by weight for conventional spray application.
- 1st coat: undiluted or up to 5% by weight for brush or roller application; up to 10% by weight for conventional spray application.
- 2nd coat: undiluted or up to 2.5% by weight for brush or roller application; up to 5% by weight for conventional spray application.
