Organic Fir honey is produced by the Soukas family in Karpenisi. It is one of the most well-known honeys in Greece, with its production accounting for 5-10% of the total honey production in the country.

Taste: It is distinguished by its good taste.

Color: It usually has a dark color, reddish or slightly lighter, depending on the origin. It is thick with a strong forest aroma.

Nutritional value: It has high nutritional and biological value. It is rich in minerals and trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron. It contains vitamins in small amounts, which help in the assimilation of sugars in the body.

Crystallization: Fir honey does not crystallize.

Why organic honey: In organic beekeeping, the treatment of bee diseases is done with plant substances and not chemicals, while the hives are located in the forest, away from pollutants and environmental contamination. The result is an excellent quality natural product, whose composition and nutritional value remain intact.
