The MARK RYDEN MR9031Y-SJ10 is a premium backpack designed for everyday use, business commuting, and travel, combining a minimal aesthetic with smart organization and large capacity.

Its ergonomic construction features a separate digital compartment that can accommodate a laptop up to 17.3”, a tablet up to 10.5”, as well as multiple internal pockets for the safe and organized carrying of personal items and accessories.

The wide 180° opening provides immediate access to the contents, while the multiple storage pockets help with better organization for work, travel, and everyday use.

The outer surface is made of Oxford material with water-repellent protection, effectively shielding against moisture and small water splashes, while the highly durable YKK zippers ensure durability and comfortable everyday use.

The backpack also features a USB charging port, hidden anti-theft pockets, a side bottle pocket, a luggage strap for attaching it to a suitcase, and an ergonomic back with breathable mesh for greater carrying comfort.

    I have had this bag for 4 months.
    Initially, the bag comes in 2 versions. With 2 compartments and with 3. So pay close attention to which version you will get. I got it from the official mark ryden website, so it was clear. The difference is that the laptop compartment is not separate in the one with 2 compartments.
    Negatives:
    The bag is NOT waterproof. It is water repellent but not waterproof. This means that in a simple splash of water/drizzle, the water will easily seep downwards, but in heavy rain it will have issues if exposed.
    I had an experience with heavy rain and the top compartment as well as the front had moisture inside.
    Also, the bag does not stand upright easily, whether full or empty, compared to other more premium bags.
    Finally, it has space inside but don't expect a plethora of pockets and functionality.
    Positives:
    The bag is value for money.
    The fabric on the outside looks and feels quite premium and gives the impression that it costs 100+. Those who are fans of the black color will love it aesthetically.
    The laptop compartment is quite good and offers protection without being shockproof, meaning the laptop hangs inside and doesn't touch the bottom of the bag. However, the bottom is padded and if taken care of, there is no issue. Personally, I also use a laptop sleeve.
    For the money, it is difficult to find bags of similar quality and more functional. Oh, if it didn't have all the negatives I mentioned, we would be talking about a bag around 100 euros. I would recommend it for a work environment and for anyone carrying around 20 liters of stuff.
