Description & Specifications

Beyond the Gates of Antares is a science fiction war game featuring skirmishes, written by Rick Priestley, the creator of Warhammer 40,000. The game incorporates technologically advanced human civilizations in a conflict that no one can afford to lose.

It is rich in detail and highly ambitious in scope, with initial rules and army lists describing six different factions:

  • PanHuman Concord
  • Ghar Empire
  • Isorian Senatex
  • Algoryn Prosperate
  • Freeborn Vardos
  • Boromite Guilds

The game uses a dice activation system that first appeared in Warlord's Bolt Action WW2 war game, ensuring that both sides remain active and engaged in every game. Resolution is done with ten-sided dice, offering significant expansion and a wide range of detail.
