For us, it's one of the best thermometers.. And we've tried quite a few.. I'm just emphasizing this because many people talk about incorrect and different measurements.. Rule, it must be placed correctly to measure because it is very sensitive.. If it is not applied correctly to the baby, it gives a wrong measurement.. At first, we experienced this too.. But once you find it.. Proper placement makes no mistake in measurement! The only downside is that it should have had a light from the start when it turns on.. So you can see the readings..
Για μας ειναι απ τα καλυτερα θερμομετρα.. Και εχουμε δοκιμασει αρκετα.. Απλα το τονιζω γιατι πολλοι λενε για λαθος μετρησης και διαφορετικες.. Κανονας, πρεπει να μπει σωστα για να μετρησει γιατι ειναι πολυ ευαισθητο.. Αν δεν εφαρμοστη σωστα στο μωρο σου βγαζει λαθος μέτρηση.. Στην αρχη το παθαιναμε και εμεις.. Μολις ομως το βρεις.. Σωστη τοποθετηση δεν κανει κανενα λαθος στην μετρηση! Το μονο μειον του ειναι οτι επρεπε να ειχε φως απ την αρχη που αναβει.. Για να βλεπεις τις ηλικίες..
The child was burning up with fever and this showed 3 different measurements within 3 minutes, none of which were correct. Making it super fast, but showing whatever, doesn't help at all! Too bad for Braun!

I don't trust the measurements.. I have to do 4-5 and take an average.. when it comes to a baby who doesn't have patience it's just a hassle... and you always end up with anxiety...

We have had this thermometer for about a year and a half.

Πάμε στα αρνητικά:

Ακρίβεια μετρήσεων: Για να πάρεις μια μέτρηση κοντά στη πραγματική θα πρέπει αρχικά να τοποθετήσεις τη μεταλλική άκρη του θερμόμετρου ακριβώς στη μέση της μασχάλης, προσέχοντας πάρα πολύ να μην είναι ανάμεσα μπλουζάκι ή φορμακι. Ωστόσο πάλι είσαι κατά προσέγγιση σωστός καθώς μέτρηση από μέτρηση με την ίδια ακριβώς μέθοδο, έχει απόκλιση.
Θετικά:

After two years of frequent use, I have two things to say. The measurements are approximately accurate, but in no way are they 100% correct like a mercury thermometer. Additionally, it broke after two years.

Very bad thermometer. From the very first use, it had different readings from 36.5 to 37.8 and they were all wrong since the child had 38.3. Also, regarding the lighting, while I had read reviews and considered it a negligible problem, it is actually a big issue as you can't even press the button for age with light. Very disappointed with the company.

I bought it because reading the reviews I thought it was great. The child was burning with fever. I put it on and it showed 37.4, I put another one I had... 38.9. I said "it can't be. I didn't put it correctly". Without further ado, I tried it 3 times. And all 3 times it showed below 37.5. It's not the batteries' fault. It's not due to any mishandling from the beginning, as it showed a significant deviation from the temperature the children had when I bought it.
Also, the screen that illuminates well, from the beginning when it opens until the end. If I have to turn on the light at night to see the temperature and wake up the children, it doesn't make sense.

Το πήρα γτ διαβάζοντας τις κριτικές νόμιζα ότι είναι σούπερ. Το παιδί ψηνόταν στον πυρετό. Το βάζω και έδειχνε 37.4 βάζω ένα άλλο που είχα...38.9. λέω "δεν μπορεί. Δεν το έβαλα σωστά" .μην τα πολυλογω το έβαλα 3 φορές. Κ τις 3 έδειχνε κάτω από 37.5. δεν φταίνε οι μπαταρίες. Δεν φταίει κάποιος κακός χειρισμός από την αρχή που το πήρα έδειχνε πολύ μεγάλη απόκλιση από την θερμοκρασία που είχαν τα παιδιά.

Οτι χειρότερο εχω δει ποτε, σε 10 μετρησεις μπορει να εχεις 10 διαφορετικα αποτελεσματα και μαλιστα μερικες φορες με μεγαλες αποκλισεις. Αποκλισεις του επιπεδου να εχεις πυρετο 38 και να δειχνει φυσιολογικη ενδειξη. Ακρως απαγορευτικο για βρεφη οπου υποτιθεται οτι προοριζεται
There is an accuracy issue. And the problem has to do with the speed of measurement.
For some inexplicable reason, Braun wanted to make it incredibly fast, which unfortunately has the downside that many times it will show you an incorrect (lower) temperature.
If you repeat the measurement 2 - 3 times, the 2nd or 3rd time you will get the correct measurement, but for me, this is a problem.
In the end, I got another one from Citizen that can measure in 1 minute, but you can be sure that the measurement is accurate.
This one here often takes a measurement in 4-5 seconds
Υπάρχει θέμα ακρίβειας. Και το πρόβλημα έχει να κάνει με την ταχύτητα της μέτρησης.
Για κάποιον ανεξήγητο λόγο η Braun ήθελε να το κάνει απίστευτα γρήγορο, που όμως έχει το κακό ότι πολλές φορές θα σου δείξει λανθασμένη (χαμηλότερη) θερμοκρασία.
Αν επαναλάβεις την μέτρηση 2 - 3 φορές, την 2η ή 3η φορά θα πάρεις σωστή μέτρηση, αλλά για μένα αυτό είναι πρόβλημα.
Τελικά πήρα ένα άλλο της Citizen που μπορεί να κάνει 1 λεπτό να μετρήσει, αλλά είσαι σίγουρος ότι η μέτρηση είναι σωστή.

The thermometer is great and in repeated measurements it does not show significant deviations. The flexible tip and the large screen are convenient... overall it seems like a quality device.
The only lack that I also notice is that, although it has a backlight for the unnecessary function of selecting age group (just to indicate whether the measurement indicates high fever or not), this backlight is deactivated when showing the temperature!
It may sound like a detail but it is a huge flaw since the backlight already exists in the device.
Apart from that, the job is done correctly and the product is considered honest for its price.

Μοναδική έλλειψη που διαπιστώνω κι εγώ είναι ότι, ενώ διαθέτει φωτισμό για την περιττή λειτουργία επιλογής ηλικιακής ομάδας (απλά και μόνο για να μας επισημάνει κατόπιν αν η μέτρηση συνιστά υψηλό πυρετό ή όχι), ο φωτισμός αυτός απενεργοποιείται όταν δείχνει την θερμοκρασία!
Μπορεί να ακούγεται λεπτομέρεια αλλά είναι τεράστιο φάουλ από την στιγμή που ο φωτισμός ήδη υπάρχει στην συσκευή.
Πέρα από αυτό η δουλειά γίνεται σωστά και το προϊόν θεωρείται τίμιο για τα χρήματά του.

It never takes 8 seconds as it claims, it takes longer. As for the measurements and accuracy, if you take 3-4 consecutive measurements, it almost always gives a different result. The color (green, red) helps a lot to immediately understand if the baby has a fever or not.

Rule, it must be placed correctly to measure because it is very sensitive.. If it is not applied correctly to the baby, it gives a wrong measurement.. At first, we experienced this too.. But once you find it.. Proper placement makes no mistake in measurement! The only downside is that it should have had a light from the start when it turns on.. So you can see the readings..

The child was burning up with fever and this showed 3 different measurements within 3 minutes, none of which were correct. Making it super fast, but showing whatever, doesn't help at all! Too bad for Braun!

We have had this thermometer for about a year and a half.

Ωστόσο πάλι είσαι κατά προσέγγιση σωστός καθώς μέτρηση από μέτρηση με την ίδια ακριβώς μέθοδο, έχει απόκλιση.

Very bad thermometer. From the very first use, it had different readings from 36.5 to 37.8 and they were all wrong since the child had 38.3. Also, regarding the lighting, while I had read reviews and considered it a negligible problem, it is actually a big issue as you can't even press the button for age with light. I bought it because reading the reviews I thought it was great. The child was burning with fever. I put it on and it showed 37.4, I put another one I had... 38.9. I said "it can't be. Οτι χειρότερο εχω δει ποτε, σε 10 μετρησεις μπορει να εχεις 10 διαφορετικα αποτελεσματα και μαλιστα μερικες φορες με μεγαλες αποκλισεις. Αποκλισεις του επιπεδου να εχεις πυρετο 38 και να δειχνει φυσιολογικη ενδειξη. Ακρως απαγορευτικο για βρεφη οπου υποτιθεται οτι προοριζεται
There is an accuracy issue. And the problem has to do with the speed of measurement.
For some inexplicable reason, Braun wanted to make it incredibly fast, which unfortunately has the downside that many times it will show you an incorrect (lower) temperature.
If you repeat the measurement 2 - 3 times, the 2nd or 3rd time you will get the correct measurement, but for me, this is a problem.
In the end, I got another one from Citizen that can measure in 1 minute, but you can be sure that the measurement is accurate.
This one here often takes a measurement in 4-5 seconds

Αν επαναλάβεις την μέτρηση 2 - 3 φορές, την 2η ή 3η φορά θα πάρεις σωστή μέτρηση, αλλά για μένα αυτό είναι πρόβλημα.
Τελικά πήρα ένα άλλο της Citizen που μπορεί να κάνει 1 λεπτό να μετρήσει, αλλά είσαι σίγουρος ότι η μέτρηση είναι σωστή.

The thermometer is great and in repeated measurements it does not show significant deviations. The flexible tip and the large screen are convenient... overall it seems like a quality device.
The only lack that I also notice is that, although it has a backlight for the unnecessary function of selecting age group (just to indicate whether the measurement indicates high fever or not), this backlight is deactivated when showing the temperature!
It may sound like a detail but it is a huge flaw since the backlight already exists in the device.
Apart from that, the job is done correctly and the product is considered honest for its price.

Μοναδική έλλειψη που διαπιστώνω κι εγώ είναι ότι, ενώ διαθέτει φωτισμό για την περιττή λειτουργία επιλογής ηλικιακής ομάδας (απλά και μόνο για να μας επισημάνει κατόπιν αν η μέτρηση συνιστά υψηλό πυρετό ή όχι), ο φωτισμός αυτός απενεργοποιείται όταν δείχνει την θερμοκρασία!
Μπορεί να ακούγεται λεπτομέρεια αλλά είναι τεράστιο φάουλ από την στιγμή που ο φωτισμός ήδη υπάρχει στην συσκευή.
Πέρα από αυτό η δουλειά γίνεται σωστά και το προϊόν θεωρείται τίμιο για τα χρήματά του.

In 1 minute, you can do 5-6 measurements and understand what's going on. I wish it was more accurate and reliable in the measurements, then it would be perfect.

ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΚΟΤΗΤΑ. Αστεία. Η οθόνη ανάβει στιγμιαία για να δεις την προηγούμενη μέτρηση και μετά σβήνει ο οπισθοφωτισμός. Με χαμηλό φωτισμό /σκοτάδι δεν φαίνεται τίποτα.
Η επιλογή για βρέφος, πιο μεγάλο μωρό, κτλ, είναι επίσης κωμική και τελείως αχρείαστη. Δηλαδή σαν να μην ξέρει αυτός που μετράει τη θερμοκρασία σε ένα μωρό ποια είναι τα φυσιολογικά όρια;; Πρέπει να ανάβουν και τα πράσινα και κόκκινα λαμπάκια. Μάλιστα.
ΤΑΧΥΤΗΤΑ. Άριστη. Το μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα της συσκευής και ο μοναδικός λόγος που συνεχίζω να τη χρησιμοποιώ. Σε λιγότερο από 10 δευτερόλεπτα έχεις μια μέτρηση. Σε 1 λεπτό μπορείς να κάνεις 5 -6 μετρήσεις και να καταλάβεις τι γίνεται. Μακάρι να ήταν πιο ακριβές και αξιόπιστο στις μετρήσεις, τότε θα άγγιζε το τέλειο.

Είμαι ευχαριστημένος και πείρα δεύτερο γιατί στο πρώτο χάλασε μετά από δύο χρόνια το κουμπί on off. Είμαστε 6 άτομα και το χρησιμοποιούμε όλοι, οπότε χρειάζεται. Γρήγορη ένδειξη, με χρήση στην μασχάλη, αρκετά ακριβής για ψηφιακό με φωτεινή ένδειξη του αποτελέσματος. Το μόνο αρνητικό ότι δεν έχει συνεχή φωτισμό με αποτέλεσμα τα βράδυα να χρειάζεται να ανοίξεις φως....

Rule, it must be placed correctly to measure because it is very sensitive.. If it is not applied correctly to the baby, it gives a wrong measurement.. At first, we experienced this too.. Για μας ειναι απ τα καλυτερα θερμομετρα.. Και εχουμε δοκιμασει αρκετα.. Απλα το τονιζω γιατι πολλοι λενε για λαθος μετρησης και διαφορετικες.. Κανονας, πρεπει να μπει σωστα για να μετρησει γιατι ειναι πολυ ευαισθητο.. Αν δεν εφαρμοστη σωστα στο μωρο σου βγαζει λαθος μέτρηση.. Στην αρχη το παθαιναμε και εμεις.. Μολις ομως το βρεις.. Σωστη τοποθετηση δεν κανει κανενα λαθος στην μετρηση! Το μονο μειον του ειναι οτι επρεπε να ειχε φως απ την αρχη που αναβει.. Για να βλεπεις τις ηλικίες..
