The G.I. Joe Heroscape - Rumble at the Rift Battle Box board game is a battle between the forces of G.I. Joe and COBRA in the world of Valhalla. It includes miniatures, modular hexagonal terrain, COBRA fortifications, dice, markers, cards, rules, and scenarios for two-player games.

The eight characters have different abilities: Snake Eyes moves silently and bypasses enemies, Duke coordinates attacks, Scarlett disrupts opponents’ plans, and Roadblock unleashes machine-gun fire. COBRA Commander, Destro, Storm Shadow, and Doctor Mindbender also use their own abilities in battle. The hexagonal tiles include shadow and toxic terrain tiles, as well as toxic water tiles that glow in the dark.
