Jinx is a board game played over three rounds. During each round, 16 cards are placed face up. The cards come in eight colors, and each color includes cards numbered from 1 to 6. Players roll a die and may optionally roll again. After the first or second roll, players collect a card from the table that matches the number shown on the die. If they cannot collect a card, the round ends, and if the color of a card they own is present among the exposed cards, they lose that card. Players who lose a card receive a random bonus card for the following rounds. These cards have various powers, such as adding or subtracting 1 from the die roll, rolling a third time, or choosing a card numbered 4-6 without rolling the die. Cards that are safe in one round may be lost in the next, so it's important for players to roll well or use their bonus cards.
