    They’re an honest value-for-money boot, but you can’t call them fully waterproof. They’re generally comfortable, especially with an anatomical insole. I’ve worn them at work and hunting, and they’ve started coming apart at the toe. For the price, they’re very good value. I bought a second pair for work, too. If you want something fully waterproof and durable, you have to pay a bit more. I also have the Salomon Quest 4 GTX, which are excellent. But they cost €170—you can’t expect to have it all.

It is a hiking boot that is quite soft and lightweight. The waterproof Gritex membrane protects you from rain and snow. It is not suitable for rocky terrains.
