Lascaux UV Protect is an archival acrylic spray varnish with UV protection (protection from ultraviolet rays). Suitable for acrylics, oils, tempera, watercolor, and pastel, as well as for paintings, inkjet prints, and photographs on nearly any substrate.

  • Colorless, waterproof, high transparency
  • Protects against UV rays
  • 3 different gloss levels: glossy, matte, satin
  • Durable over time, resistant to light, does not yellow
  • Quick drying, odorless, elastic film
  • Does not smudge
  • Good adhesion, resistant to abrasion and hardness
  • Contains solvents (reparably dissolvable)
  • Highly versatile in use
  • The gloss level depends on the absorbency of the substrate
  • Follow the instructions on the label; a test is recommended
  • Apply multiple thin coats, avoid wet spots
