I’ve been using it for three months now for music production, video, vector / 3D design, and programming.
Advantages:
- Speakers: the best available on the market in x86 PCs, on the same level as the MacBook Pro
- Display: touchscreen (for whoever cares), sRGB rating: 100%
- Processor: ideal for Linux users (I’ll come back to that) and local LLM models
- GPU: the RTX 5070 is just right for the level at which I use it (graphic / video design, Steam games, etc.)*
- 4TB SSD: I got the PC with two 2TB SSDs, which are removable. Ideal for a large amount of data, especially for professionals, with very good read/write speeds (especially in ext4 format for Linux, everything is great)
Disadvantages:
- Battery: this particular processor is way too powerful and not particularly optimized (either on Windows or on Linux), resulting in it draining the battery for no reason
- GPU*: due to the power delivery limitations from the power supply, it cannot reach the performance of the same card in a desktop PC (for me it’s fine, I’m just mentioning it for the next interested buyer)
- Refresh rate: for such a tool, a 60Hz display is quite low
- Camera: I don’t know why they cut costs on the camera, but it’s the worst thing ever; in fact, 2002-era phone cameras like the Sony Ericsson T600 or Nokia 7650 look like DSLR cameras by comparison to the ProArt P16
I could definitely have bought a more efficient Intel-based PC for the same price, but speakers and GPU performance like this simply don’t exist. I highly recommend it.
Το χρησιμοποιώ εδώ και τρείς μήνες για παραγωγή μουσικής, βίντεο, vector / 3D design και προγραμματισμό.
Προτερήματα:
- Ηχεία: ό,τι καλύτερο υπάρχει στην αγορά σε x86 ΗΥες, της ίδιας τάξης με MacBook Pro
- Οθόνη: οθόνη αφής (για όποιον τον νοιάζει), sRGB rating: 100%
- Επεξεργαστής: ιδανικός για χρήστες Linux (θα επανέλθω σ'αυτό) και local μοντέλα LLM
- GPU: η RTX 5070 είναι ότι πρέπει για το βαθμό που τη χρησιμοποιώ (graphic / video design, παιχνίδια Steam κτλ)*
- 4TB SSD: πήρα τον ΗΥ με δύο 2TB SSD τα οποία είναι αφαιρέσημα. Ιδανικό για μεγάλο όγκο δεδομένων, ειδικά για επαγγελματίες με πολύ καλές ταχύτητες read/write (ειδικά σε φορμάτ ext4 για Linux, όλα σούπερ)
Μεινονεκτήματα:
- Μπαταρία: ο συγκεκριμένος επεξεργαστής παραείναι δυνατός και όχι ιδιαίτερα optimized (είτε σε Windows είτε σε Linux), με αποτέλεσμα να ρουφάει μπαταρία για πλάκα
- GPU*: λόγω του ορείου της παροχής ρεύματος από τη τροφοδοσία, δεν μπορεί να φτάσει την απόδοση της ίδιας κάρτας σε έναν desktop ΗΥ (για μένα είναι οκ, απλά το αναφέρω για τον επόμενο ενδιαφερόμενο)
- Refresh rate: για τέτοιο εργαλείο, 60Hz οθόνη είναι αρκετά χαμηλό
- Κάμερα: δεν ξέρω γιατί κόψανε το κόστος στη κάμερα, αλλά είναι ό,τι χειρότερο υπάρχει, σε φάση κάμερες κινητών του 2002 τύπου Sony Ericsson T600 ή Nokia 7650 να φαίνονται σαν κάμερες DSLR συγκριτικά με το ProArt P16
Σίγουρα θα μπορούσα να έπαιρνα έναν πιο αποδοτικό ΗΥ βασισμένο σε Intel με το ίδιο κόστος, αλλά τέτοια ηχεία και απόδοση GPU απλά δεν υπάρχουν. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.
