Wine: Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
A special and dynamic wine made from selected dried Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes, expressing the power and complexity of Valpolicella. It is produced using the appassimento method, where 100% of the grapes are dried before fermentation, offering concentration, intensity, and a rich structure.
The wine ages in 225-liter French oak barrels, gaining depth and complexity. Visually, it shows a deep ruby color, almost black. On the nose, it presents a rich aromatic character with notes of spices, black pepper, cocoa, licorice, cherry, plum, and chocolate. On the palate, it is full and rich, with flavors of ripe cherry and blackberry combined with spices and distinctive black pepper. Despite its power, it remains soft and elegant, with strong yet balanced tannins and pleasant acidity.
It is recommended to allow it to breathe for about 30 minutes before consumption to fully reveal its character.
