Description

The multi-award-winning Valpolicella "Costa Rossa" is among the estate's signature wines and is a bottled treasure. It is produced with Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes, which are hand-harvested. It undergoes the "ripasso" double fermentation technique using dried Amarone grapes. On the nose, it opens with a dense core of black cherry and plum, mixed with notes of spices, black pepper, herbs, and smoke.

Fleshy on the palate, with subtle mineral elements, velvety tannins, and expressive aromas of berries, aronia, and black cherries, followed by a sensation of bitter chocolate and warm kirsch liqueur. The finish is long and complex. It can age exceptionally well and is recommended to be decanted for at least 30 minutes before consumption.

Food pairing: Excellent with game, pasta with rich sauces, juicy red meats, as well as aged cheeses.
