The Patagonia Refugio Daypack is suitable for everyday use, work, school and short trips. It has a main compartment with internal organizer pockets, a padded laptop sleeve for laptops up to 15", and a front zippered pocket. It is compatible with a hydration system and has a port for the drinking tube, as well as side pockets made of stretch mesh and main fabric for water bottles.

The back panel is breathable, and the sternum strap is adjustable. It includes attachment points for a bike light and additional gear, side compression straps, and a top carry handle. The fabric has a DWR water-repellent finish made without intentionally added PFAS, and the backpack is made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
