Processor

Intel Core and AMD Ryzen processors offer performance for all needs. The i3 / Ryzen 3 series covers basic use. The i5 / Ryzen 5 are ideal for multitasking and office applications, while the i7 / i9 / Ryzen 7 also serve more demanding applications. The new Intel Core Ultra combines efficiency and AI capabilities. The Apple M1/M3/M4 stand out for their speed, low consumption, and excellent experience on macOS.

Frequency

1.1 GHz

Frequency

The processor speed in GHz indicates how many instructions it can process per second; the higher the value, the faster the system processes are executed. It significantly affects the speed in daily tasks, applications, and multitasking.

RAM Type

DDR4

RAM Type

The RAM memory functions as an intermediate memory, holding "temporary" data that is used more frequently by the processor so that it does not need to retrieve it from the much slower hard disk.

The DDR3 RAM standard appeared in 2007 and continues to be used in older systems, while DDR4 appeared in 2014 and is now the standard.

DDR4

The most common type of memory, with timings starting from 2133Hz. They offer higher speeds, lower battery consumption, and autonomy compared to DDR3.

Graphics Card

Shared Memory

Yes

Shared Memory

The graphics card does not have its own dedicated memory, but instead uses a portion of the system's RAM. These laptops are not designed for gaming.

Storage Medium

The technology used for data storage.

Flash Storage

An early version of SSDs with corresponding advantages (high read speeds, reliability, lower battery consumption and size) compared to HDDs but without reaching the level of the former.

Hard Disk Capacity

64 GB

Hard Disk Capacity

The amount of information that can be stored on the laptop's hard drive. The most popular sizes are 512GB and 1TB.

As an example, a 1TB hard drive can hold approximately 250,000 photos taken with a 12MP camera or 250 movies.

Weight

The weight of a laptop in everyday use significantly affects the ease of transport and user comfort, especially if it is frequently used outside the home or office. A laptop weighing less than 1.5 kg is considered lightweight and ideal for portability (e.g., students, professionals), while devices over 2 kg may be more powerful but less convenient for frequent movement.
