Some nights it keeps flashing for no reason and other nights it works normally. On the positive side is the strong lighting and on the negative side is the response from the company that sent it to me. I sent them a message about the above strange issues but they completely ignored me!

I bought it to help an elderly person who doesn't turn on lights at night when moving around (!!). On the first day of operation, it worked perfectly with satisfactory light and good detection range. Now on the 2nd day, it started not turning on even in complete darkness. I thought it was burnt out. I don't know why or if this specific one is defective, but eventually, it turns on even in complete darkness... whenever it wants.
UPDATE After a tip from a good friend, a technician and expert, the problem was the infrared lights from the surveillance camera I have directly across, which was probably confusing its sensor. I changed its position and everything is fine.

UPDATE Μετά από ενημέρωση καλού φίλου, τεχνικού και γνώστη, το πρόβλημα ήταν τα λαμπάκια υπέρυθρου φωτός από την κάμερα παρακολούθησης που έχω απέναντι ακριβώς και μάλλον μπέρδευε τον αισθητήρα του. Το άλλαξα θέση και όλα καλά.
