This review is about the colour: Multicolour

The Scorpion EXO‑R1 Evo II is a helmet with excellent aerodynamics, very good stability at high speeds, and a comfortable fit. Its shell and interior are of high quality, and overall the helmet performs very well on long rides and trips.

However, there is a serious and recurring problem with the central visor lock. To be clear: I am not talking about the side visor fasteners. The part that breaks is the small central “cup”/button at the bottom of the visor, the one that snaps with the magnet onto the helmet. This part breaks in two and then the visor does not lock properly.

I have had a total of 3 visors break (2 factory and 1 purchased). The problem seems to be due to the Ellip‑Tec II mechanism and the pressure created by the Pinlock, something that has been reported by many users. It is not a matter of use, but a design issue.

The helmet itself is really very good, but this particular mechanism ruins the overall experience and affects trust in the company. I would like to see an official solution or reinforced spare part from Scorpion, because otherwise the product is a very strong package.
