The upper of the ASICS Gel-NYC features a hybrid design based on the early-2000s GEL-NIMBUS 3, while incorporating design details from the MC-PLUS V. Shock Absorption Technology & Midsole

The midsole construction borrows from the GEL-CUMULUS 16, combining lightweight foam layers with GEL technology. Visible GEL inserts in the heel and forefoot absorb impact while walking, distributing pressure evenly and providing stability and comfort throughout the day.

Outsole & Traction
