The Matagot board game Coexist is a strategy game for 1–4 players. As the head of a non-governmental organization, each player mobilizes teams of animal caregivers, releases species into the wild, and provides shelter for those that remain in their organization. Releasing species earns points and unlocks special abilities, while players manage resources and choose cards from a shared face-up row.

The game ends when a player has released five species; the winner is the player with the most points.
