This is the second ring puzzle of the Cast series and its idea goes back at least to the 15th century. This edition has small changes from the original designed by Jose Grant and has been made with today's capabilities and expertise.
The current idea that the puzzle now represents is the five Olympic rings and the connection between them. The aim of the puzzle is to form the ring, after you have first disassembled the five rings.
