Description

The Domaine de Lagraviere had already gained a reputation for its exceptional terroir since the 18th century. In 1850, the Chateau was purchased by Madame Arnaud Ricard, who added the name Malartic to that of Lagraviere as a tribute to the former owners.

Gaining an exceptional reputation, Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere was one of the six estates of Bordeaux that entered the Graves classification in 1953 for reds and in 1959 for whites.

Today, the Chateau is owned by the Bonnie family. It is one of the most significant Chateaus of Graves, an area in the southeast of Bordeaux and on the Right Bank of the Garonne River.
