The Bohemians by Portal Games is a strategic card game in which players take on the roles of artists wandering the streets of Paris in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their goal is to create works of art while managing their everyday responsibilities. Each round, they plan their day by choosing between appointments, social events, meetings with their muse, creating works of art, or working.
The cards provide bonuses and inspiration, while the order in which they are played affects how much inspiration is gained. Players spend inspiration to acquire new cards and enrich their deck with habits, muses, or career achievements. The artist who earns the most achievements wins.
