    Very good CPU in the year 2026 and the reason is the RAM Crisis.
    The 7500x3D is a 6-core/12-thread processor with 65w TDP (nominal), low temps because of this, pcie5.0 support & 24Pcie Lanes all at a good price (210-220€) and with 3D V-Cache.
    Now, the 9600X at 175-185€ has small back and forths as its direct competitor. While it comes with 4ghz (4.5ghz boost) and the 9600X with 5.0ghz (5.4ghz boost), even with the V-Cache, the differences are 50-50 (in some games the 9600X wins by 20%, in others due to memory, the 7500x3D wins by 20%).

    Now for the more nerd stuff, and I might get a bit tiring.
    The processor is worth it for only one reason... Single Stick RAM ddr5 at 200€ vs Dual Sticks ddr5 at 400-500€.
    I have the 9600X with 2x16GB Teamgroup Delta ARGB 6000mhz/cl30 and decided to try (I have a lot of free time) the 7500x3D.

    It happened that after a small issue in the bios with the RAM, I removed one stick and ran gaming benchmarks with just one 16GB stick. Surprisingly, I didn't see the 1% & 0.1% lows of the 9600X, I saw stable and smaller drops... It turned out that the 7500x3D, because of its Cache, handles 2/5 processes in-game with the processor's memory. Something that the smaller memory of the 9600X doesn't do and needs dual channel (even 2x8gb). Looking into it on sites, youtube and benchmarking sites, I saw that it wasn't just me BUT it's like that for everyone....! So finally you have a VERY good CPU for heavy gaming and unlike the other x3D (6core) that cost 300-400€ (7600x3D 374€) because they are microcenter exclusive and it's simply better to go for 9800x3D at 400€, we have a 200€ 1080p/1440p and maybe with the right card (but with 2stick ddr5) 2160p Gaming Ready PC! You drop the cost of ddr5 in record time! Now you can find 1x16GB stick for 200€ but you have the option to stay with that for a while and if RAM prices ever drop to normal (even) levels, you can upgrade with a second stick as long as it's EXACTLY the same and on the motherboard's QVL.
    Finally, compared to 7800x3D/9800x3D where you need an expensive cooler, here with a thermalright evo 120 assasin (20€) you keep the processor cool in 1080p gaming under 55 degrees. After hours of gaming with 1110~ airflow, you don't need an arctic 360 liquid cooler to avoid thermal throttles.

    If you already have 2x16gb ddr5 RAM and a motherboard, I don't recommend it... 220 7500x3D vs 275€ 7800x3D, I would put the extra 50 for the better model or wait for a new CPU generation.
    But if you're building and thinking "should I get new ddr4 (32gb 250€) or motherboard 150€ and basic processor 150€ with old platform for cost reasons"
    7500x3D ~220€ (way better than 5600X/XT or 12400f)
    1x16GB DDR4 ~220€
    Cooler ~ 25€ (yes, the boxed version does not come with a cooler.......this one too)
    B850 (decent motherboard with wifi6e/7) ~150€
    Total: ~600€
    And when prices drop, you grab a second stick of ddr5 and you're king on a platform that still has support VS LGA1700/1851/AM4.
