The Messerschmitt Me-108 Typhoon is a German four-seat single-engine sport and liaison aircraft, designed by Willi Messerschmitt. The maiden flight of the prototype took place in 1934 and it was put into operation a year later. The engine used was the Argus As 10C-3 with 239 horsepower. The Me-108 was used by the Luftwaffe as a transport aircraft for senior officers and as a liaison aircraft.

Such an aircraft crashed on January 10, 1940 near Mechelen, sparking the famous "Mechelen Incident." The experience gained from building this aircraft was used in the construction of the legendary Me-109.
